Therapy
You’ll see one of our psychologists or licensed therapists. These appointments are intended to help you through life’s disruptions, offering a wide range of proven and effective therapies and treatments.
First Appointment: Typically 45-60 minutes, and includes a detailed assessment, diagnosis, and developing a care plan with your therapist.
For children and teen clients, parent/guardian involvement throughout treatment is important. Your child’s therapist will meet with you and your child as part of the initial assessment. Depending on the age of your child and reason for the visit, the therapist may ask to speak with you and/or your child individually during the appointment.
Follow-up Appointments: Typically 45-60 minutes, these appointments will involve meeting with your therapist to continue to your therapy care plan. This could involve discussion and processing, exercises, and even games - all of which are intended to help you achieve your goals for your treatment.
You and your therapist will typically discuss whether these appointments would involve family members or just you. For children and teen clients, your child’s therapist may request to meet individually with your child. Parent(s)/guardian(s) are encouraged to attend each session.
